The L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Programs provide free classes in the arts, athletics, and academics every day, after school, to almost 1,000 students a day, grades 6th-12th. L.A.C.E.R. is creating opportunities, building academic skills, and preparing students for their future.

DRIVERS ED REGISTRATION FORM

ABOUT DRIVER ED AT LACER!

The L.A.C.E.R. Program is offering an afterschool driver’s ed course for GALA high school students age 15.5 and older. Students who complete the course will receive a DL400B certificate, which allows minors to take the written exam for a provisional permit.

There will be ten sessions offered in November on the following dates:

Week 1: 11/3-11/4,

Week 2: 11/10, 11/12-11/14,

Week 3: 11/17-11/20

Attendance for the first session (11/3) is mandatory. To pass the course, students must attend at least eight of the ten scheduled sessions.

All classes will take place in Room 30. Sessions that fall on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays will be from 4:00 to 6:33 pm. Sessions on Tuesdays will be from 3:00-5:33 pm.

Interested students must fill out and return both a Driver’s Ed Contract and a L.A.C.E.R. Registration Form, complete with parent signatures.
