LACER's TALENTMANIA! @ Fairfax High School

The L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Programs will be hosting the 11th Annual Talent Show at Fairfax High School. We will be featuring dozens of acts, with a total of 50 student performers, which include performances in dance, music and spoken word. It is a community event and we welcome all spectators to come out and see the amazing talent our students have to offer. All students went through an audition process, and these were the top acts selected out of 32 performances. Students have the opportunity to place 1st place for $300, 2nd place for $200 and 3rd place for $100. We also have professional judges coming out to select the winners on April 27th! This is the only event of its kind on the Fairfax campus and has become a loved tradition at Fairfax High School.

Happy Hour Benefitting LACER!

Want to join us in supporting a good cause? Do you enjoy cocktails and fun? Then, the Champions for LACER Happy Hour is for you! LACER Board Members Fernando and Nicole are hosting an evening expected to be full of laughs and excitement. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps! If you cannot join us, we will be sad, but you can help us miss you a little less by donating a $20.

LACER provides free classes in the arts, athletics, and academics every day after school, to more than 4,000 middle and high school students in Los Angeles. LACER is creating opportunities, building academic skills, and preparing students for their future. This is an amazing program and magnificent group of very passionate individuals.

“LACER makes me feel safe, and it is the type of environment where you can meet ALL kinds of different people with different personalities.”
